Nanjing Baijingyu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd is a comprehensive pharmaceutical enterprise which produce chemical APIs and chemical preparations. In 2003, the enterprise issued with GMP certificates by SFDA of China, and in 2008, we passed the reinspection. The corporate HQ is located in the centern of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China. The APIs production base is located in Nanjing Chemistry Industry Park and the preparations production base is located in Nanjing Economic And Technical development Zone. Nanjing Baijingyu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd is a long-established enterprise. The trade-mark of Baijingyu was registered in 1939, and it has been affirmed as ‘China Time-honored Brand’ by the Department of Commerce in china, and acquire the name of ‘Famous Trademark’ in Jiangsu Province.
Now, the company has 113 registered products, they are 22 APIs and 91 preparations. The preparations include tablet, ointment, capsule, powder, tincture, suspension and gels and so on. There are 65 preparations and 7 APIs that are produced in large scale and on the market. In recent three years, we also OEM 85 preparations for our broad cooperation partner, and the production are exported to more than 30 countries and areas. In 2008, sales income of exported preparation is 50 million yuan(amount to USD 7.352 million yuan), it was the top of Jiangsu Province. Since 2009, the sales income of exported preparation is increased steadily.
The area of API production area is 27000 m2. Currently, the products that produced during the entire year are Levamisole Hydrochloride, Ketoconazole, Chloramphenicol, Buflomedil Hydrochloride, Lomefloxacine Hydrochloride and Pyritinol Hydrochloride and so on. The annual production capacity is more than 1,000 ton. The history of exporting APIs is more than 15 years, the quality of the products are complied with USP and E.P. Ever since 2008, the company rebuilt the plants and facilities of APIs production, the new workshop in API area according to standard of FDA of USA has been finished in midyear of 2009, and the trail production is successful. The new workshop collectd the R&D, test, pilot plant test and production, the Workshops &Equipments, craftwork, layout, purified water and purification system are standed leading position in Eastern China. At the present time, the annual output of only Levamisole Hydrochloride is not less than 500 ton. The APIs production also
build a new sewage treatment station which daily processing capacity is 420 ton, a new PDS power distribution system which capacity of electric power supply is 1250KVA, and a new firepool which has the capacity of 430m3. They have updated the fire fighting system and the common service system thoroughly. The purification system of every products has been separated from each other, so the cross contamination has been preclude thoroughly.
The area of API production area is 6400 m2. At present, annual production capacity of common tablets is 8 billion tablets, annual production capacity of contraceptive tablets is 2 billion tablets, annual production capacity of tincture is 1 million litres, annual production capacity of cream is 65 million tubes, annual production capacity of capsules is 650 million capsules, and annual production capacity of lotion is 50,000 litres. Since from 2005, the company invested 61.3 million yuan(amount to USD 9.015 million yuan) to change the production line, bring in advanced equipment and instrument. At present, the reasonable plant layout has avoided the cross contaimination, the purification grade has reached 100,000 class, and the quality of purified water has been reached the requirement of WHO. The company also plan to build new workshop in the vacancy area in preparation production base according to standard of GMP of European Union.
Our company is a fixation point in china that to produce narcotic and Contraceptive Drugs. The Contraceptive workshop was subsidized by general headquarters of United Nations Population Fund in 1985, the production facility was standed leading position in china. In 2003, when reforming and establishing Nanjing Baijingyu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, the company relocated preparation production area(1800 m2) which passed the certification of SFDA of China. In 2006, the company invested three times to change the hardware of the workshop according with the requirement of WHO, and the company passed the certification of INVIMA of Columbia, so that our products can be saled to the market in South America.
R&D Department has capability for developing second grade national new medicine. That was consisted of chemistry bulk drugs to synthesize lab, preparation medicine lab and semisolid preparation medicine lab. There are more than 20 variety are being developed, new medicine is based on contraceptive drugs series, and common contraceptive enlarge to emergency contraceptive and drug for abortion step by step. There are 65 people in R&D. since 2005 our company sale preparation medicine export, developing 195 varieties order products, producing 41 varieties, include tablets, granules, capsules, ointments, eye ointments etc., the varieties of yearly capacity at 1-6 million tablets are 9. Formula of product is improved by R&D.
Quality Management Department is divided for QA and QC. QA is throughout whole production process and QC is consisted of chemical analysis lab and microbial analysis lab. The company passed the certification of CECMED of Cuba in 2008 and got the certificate of GMP; and passed the certification of CECMED of Malawi in 2009.
Warehouse is strict managed according to GMP, “Uniqueness of Material” management was built and praised from official. Logistic (import and export) is carried out by ERP software, flowing of all kinds of product has traceability. HVAC system of warehouse was reformatted twice from 2006, to ensure the humiture meets requirements of cold-storage and storing.
There are 640 employees in our company. The number of people for Engineers and Technicians are more than 100, Quality Management Department are more than 60, Licensed Pharmacist are 27 and Marketer are more than 120.
